Tweeting Across America

We stopped for coffee at Dunkin Donuts. Steve took a picture of me with Gronk, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

When the man in the line ahead of us turned around I told him we were on our way to our new home in Las Vegas. I asked if he wanted to get in on the action. He squared off with the Gronk. Then Ron Medeiros turned around with both hands full of coffee and Gronk looked envious. He wished us well and signed our book.

A while later on the Garden State Parkway I noticed an interesting license plate. I asked the lady if I could take a picture and she said yes, I could “because she is the queen and she said so.”

We had a most interesting conversation with her and her daughter. She told us all about Betty Boop. Queen Rosie wished us well, signed our book and wished us well.

Everyone we have met has been excited about our trip to Las Vegas.

How exciting! Despite what the big media outlets are showing, I’m so glad you’re showcasing how kind and wonderful everyday Americans really are.
