The turkey was golden brown and everything was perfect. The exceptional part of Thanksgiving for me this year was the tremendous amount of gratitude I shared with people on Twitter. I appreciate the greetings from folks in other countries – even through they don’t share the same holiday. I heard this great story about taking the homeless to the movies on Thanksgiving. I heard about replacing turkey with BLTs and the Macy’s parade. I heard great stories on #epicthanks. I’m not Twitter perfect. I didn’t see some greetings until two days after the fact because I didn’t check my “mentions.” The greetings are still like gold to me, but it would have been nice if I had said thank you in a timely manner. We are so thankful for all we have.
