We received a card in the mail from the Epilepsy Foundation stating “WE OFFER FAST, EASY AND CONVENIENT WAYS TO DONATE 7 DAYS A WEEK!”

I called that number and said we have a house full of furniture and TONS of clothing we would like to donate. Can you please send a truck out on Monday, September 24, 2012.
After checking our zip code, the lady said our area is scheduled for pickup on September 26, 2012. I explained we would be on our way to Las Vegas by then, could she please send a truck earlier. Her reply: “Our next pick up in your area is in November.” I thanked her and said good bye.
Notice the black stripe in the middle of the card “WE ESPECIALLY NEED CLOTHING!” Guess what! I am moving from the cold winters of New England to live in warm Las Vegas. I won’t be taking winter clothing. I want to donate my winter clothing.
Yes, I will call my favorite charity. The Salvation Army has never failed me.
