Meditation Secrets?

On occasion Steve will ask, “What are you thinking?” When I tell him, he says he finds it mind boggling that I can process so many thoughts at such a rapid pace. That just happens to be how my brain works. I don’t have a problem with that until bedtime when I would like to go to sleep and my brain keeps on thinking.

My amazing care giver, Dr. Marney Roemmelt, says I need to meditate. Believe me I have tried. I have read many books looking for the magic. I may have found it.

We are all unique individuals. That is what makes us all amazing. The other day I wrote “Life Is So Amazing – I Love Myself” telling how life is clicking into place for me.

I read the book Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends On It and think I have found the secret to meditation. I have been working on the techniques suggested in the book. They sound so simple, but they are difficult. Adding the music to the meditation has been helpful. Why is meditation so difficult for me?

    To meditate in a quiet space has it’s purpose. It can teach us many things, but I find the best place to meditate is in the cacophony, in the chaos. Meditating in a bustling place finding a way to be calm in the hustle of life prepares us for the times when life begins to slip out of control…Meditate in a noisy place, see if that works?

    I too have a very busy mind so I know what you’re talking about . I’ve been meditating for many years now so don’t give up you can do it . I realize today how much it has really helped me deal with every day bumps in the road . I also feel it has help me be healthy in body mind and spirit . I feel such peace even in the middle of negativity all around me ( my siblings ) . It can help you so much !
    I started out listening to Kenny G and meditating now I listen to Medayn Goodall ‘s music thanks to Lisa she plays some while doing massages so very relaxing . You take a deep breath in through your nose and out forming a kiss through the mouth . Counting to 5 in with the new breath 1-5 hold out with the old 1-5 hold if this is to long go shorter I do this 3 times . If my mind starts to get busy I say to all the stuf just pass threw I will deal with it later and do the breathing again with counting . It’s a way to train your mind to be quite
    Now I can go into mediation instantly come out and go back in a blink of an eye . When you meditate you go into theta state . At this time because of meditating I’ve been studying Theta healing very interesting and so works with healing .
