Life Is A Journey

LIfe is hard, but you have to keep moving. Your parent, best friend, lover, (fill in the blank) walked out on you and you are all alone. You lost your job. You are homeless. You have reached the lowest point in your life. For just one terrible moment, think of a point in your life when you thought that you just could not go any further. Have you ever thought that you and the world in general would be better if you just ended your life and be done with the battle of living? All of us have probably had any of all of these thoughts at some point in our lives. Truthfully speaking, not every day is perfect, but I always have hope for a better tomorrow.

Life force is defined as: The spirit or energy that animates living creatures; the soul. With this energy we can do something. We can always do something to help someone. Inspiration can be more valuable than gold. You could say inspiration is used to attain gold. Think about it.

“Time to make the donuts.” was a rather popular saying. We saw the sleepy baker shuffle off to work in the morning to make the donuts for the workers who would shuffle by a short while later on their way to work. They worked all day, went home at night and started the next day all over again. Sometimes life can get boring. Sometimes you have to look for the bright spot in life. Sometimes that bright spot is a sunrise, a smile, a cartoon or the hope for a better tomorrow. No matter how sad, lonely, or downtrodden I have felt I can always find something to be thankful for. I am not in a wheel chair. I have all my body parts. I can walk. I can talk. I have a lot to be thankful for.

So many songs have just the right words like: “Make someone happy, Make just one someone happy.” It may only be a smile or a hello that does the trick. You never know what is needed to make another person feel alive and part of the scene. Enjoy the magic that is your life.
