This is a picture of my new iPod Shuffle. As you can see, it is physically very small, but it is mighty. I am so excited.
I have my very first “owned only by my me” iPod. It is bright pink. I could have had one before, but I just never needed one or particularly wanted one until now. My good doctor says I should meditate. It will help me go to sleep. Meditation will also give me a good start to the day. Music will help me meditate.
I was telling our son Chris about getting an iPod to store my meditation music. He surprised me the next day with this little beauty. Who knew I would be so excited about this tiny piece of technology. I should have known they were dynamic.
The key to having music in bed is not to bother your partner. The ear buds fit nicely into my ears and are very comfortable. They supply delightful stereo sound. Wow this is exciting! I can’t remember the last time I used earphones to listen to music, but WOW that stereo sound is thrilling!!! When I verified that Steve couldn’t hear the music and I wasn’t bothering him – DOUBLE THRILL!!
When Steve and I met we were both disc jockeys at a radio station in Augusta, Maine. We were heavy into music, but over the years, other things came into our lives and captured our attention. We don’t follow artists and bands like we used to, we now follow sound and rhythms. We have surprised a few folks with our electric music collection, but it is all good.
I am so pleased with the Pink iPod Meditation Project, as I call it. I may create another genre of music using a different colored iPod. I am so excited.
Having an iPod to store all the beautiful sounds is holding a magical treasure.
