Foxwoods at Christmas

Today’s feature is the result of spending a couple of days at the Foxwoods Casino in Ledyard Connecticut.

Steve and I spent some time together touring the halls and corridors of Foxwoods. I was able to take both still shots and videos  of many of the fabulous Christmas decorations adorning the walls, ceilings and floors of the largest resort casino on the East coast.

While Steve played some “No Limit Hold ‘Em” poker, I edited the video and added the narration.

I really enjoyed the decorations and after listening to the video, I realized that I used the word magnificent a lot, but it really was magnificent.

I’d  like to make a correction to what I said in the video. When I was describing the character Rapunzel, I referred to the new Disney movie as being “Twisted” but when Steve reviewed the clip, he asked if I might have meant “Tangled”.  Now that is twisted, isn’t it.

Even if you don’t play slots or cards, this Casino offers a lot to see and do included some of the latest Broadway show and a Comedy connection. The Pequot Museum is a must see if you are in the area.

There is also quite a lot of history to learn about regarding the Native Americans that lived in this area of the country.
